Curriculum

The schools provide education from Pre-Primary to Senior Secondary classes. The medium of instruction is English. The optional third language for classes VI to VIII is Sanskrit. All the necessary important subjects like English, Hindi, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, Informatics Practices, Art, Music, Handicrafts, Work Experience, Health & Physical Education are part of academic programme.

Besides, we run two vocational courses i.e. Financial Marketing Management and Healthcare Sciences. The school programme not only enables students to acquire qualification requisite for earning their livelihood but also prepares them for the future so that they can make maximum use of each and every opportunity provided to them.

Co-Curricular Activities

Students have been divided into four houses, namely Red, Blue, Green & Yellow. To bring out the hidden talents of the children, Inter House Competitions in both, Sports and Cultural & Literary activities are organized every now and then. These competitions provide tremendous scope for the development of creativity & physical health.

Co-Curricular Activities

Games and sports are an integral part of the school curriculum. Children are trained in various games and sports to prepare them for Inter-School, State, National & International level competitions.
Both schools train students in following Games/Sports:
Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Cricket, Boxing, Judo Karate, Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Horse Riding and Swimming. National level coaches have been appointed to groom the children in various sports. Fields of all outdoor games are covered with grass. Indoor games like Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carom etc. are played in the spacious sports room.

Cultural & Literary Activities

Cultural & literary activities develop the aesthetic beauty in the personality of the students. The schools provide profound opportunities to each individual child to come up on the stage through their various cultural and literary activities like debate, dramatics, elocution, extempore speech, Western & Indian solo and group song and dance, Western instrumental music, Painting, Drawing, Calligraphy, Origami competitions, Symposium, Seminar, Fun fair, Exhibition etc. The students display their cultural & literary taste on Annual Function apart from CCAs on every Saturday.

Music Department

The Music room is well equipped with around more than 50 Indian and Western musical instruments. All sorts of instruments like Harmonium, Tabla, Dholak, Guitar, Synthesizer, Casio, Marques adorn the Music Room. Adept instructors from Music rich states have been appointed to impart music education.

Children are motivated to learn at least one Indian and one Western musical instrument during their schooling. The schools have their own orchestra, which can compel everyone to raise his feet. A group of highly skilled teachers is always ready to guide the children in real Guru Shishya spirit. Four different Music rooms are set up for the different sections, for Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary.

Art & Craft Department

It’s a big hall which is an embodiment of all the traits of modern & ancient art. Here children are motivated to try their hands on drawing, painting, sculpture, origami etc. Each section has a separate big and beautiful Art & Craft room.

N.C.C

Dundlod school has approval for raising of half Junior Division (Army) with a strength of 50 cadets in school under command of 3 Rajasthan Bn NCC, Sikar. This is additional feather in DPS cap as NCC is helpful in developing character, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst the students. Also, it gives training in leadership and provides an apt environment to inspire students to take up a career in armed forces.
